which scat crank

Default which scat crank

hi guy's, can anyone help me find out which scat crank this is,
numbers on crank are; 350375543 and 0506086.
i've tried emailing scat but on response.
i get it's a 383 by 350 and 375 stroke, do the other numbers say what material it is etc.

It don't look like the right Part NUmber..the 350375 looks right which would be a 350 main and a 3.75 stroke but the last numbers 543 don't match anything..

Are you sure about the 543 on the end?If it was 541 then you would have a 4130 Crank!

double checked the numbers that's them, the crank itself has lightning holes in all throws only 1-4 holes go right through, flywheel flange is not like the std gm with 2 90* cutouts more roundish looking, and it has a smooth casting texture to it.
just want to make sure it's not cast crank as i 'll be looking at trying to get over 650 hp from this combo.

i did a google searh and it turned out to be a elgin 4340 steel crank w/ 3.75 stroke with drilled lighting holes. Are you sure its a scat?

it's got scat 3.750 stamped in black on it, doesn't mean alot i suppose, anyway what's the elgin 4340 cranks like, would they handle up to 700 hp.

Generally speaking most 4340 steel cranks are pretty stout some are better than others the difference in quality typical means allot higher price, I would have to say that it should handling 700 horse no problem.
Just make sure you get it checked out throughly by a competent machine shop, and then have it balanced for your piston & rod combo.
