I dynoed my motor and it calls for 40* on the dyno. Now in my truck i have a MSD starter saver. The paper work syas there is a 4* retard built in it. ?? is now do i move my timing back to 40* with the starter saver?? or leave it alone?

It is a crank trigger set up on it..

You dont need to touch your timing the starter saver will kick it back automatically and when the motor reaches like 800 rpm it will return the timin to normal, but if you are running 40 degrees of advance you will probably need more than 4 degrees retard to keep it from kicking back on you.
