Default race gas to use for 15.1 compression bbc drag racing?

HI, I need some help ! I'm building a new short block and have it set up for 15.1 compression static. but need to know what octane fuel to use? I can lower the comp to 14.1 with a thicker gasket if need be. I run alumn. heads and a cam with 110 lobe sep. i heard that make a diff. on crankin comp. shoul go 7200 rpm through the lights. I would also like to use nos some times. 175hp-250hp shot. Thanks for your help!

I've used 110 on 14:5 for a few years with no issues, switched to 112 and gained nothing at all.

I got done dynoing my new motor that made little over 1000hp and that is a 15to1 motor. I used the sonoco HCR PLUS which is 114 RM/2.
