Any good tips on how to squeeeze alil more out of a 302. Mine has 9.1 compression. roller rockers gt40 heads carb spacer. velocity stack It does not have headers i will be getting them soon. I will also be upgrading form a 600 carb to holley street avenger maybe. Is there anything else that sees more power?

Are you trying to get more from bolt-ons or are were you looking to change some of the internals of the motor?

What kind of intake are you running? The headers and the carb is a good start. I found with my experiences with 302s that you need a lot of cam and cylinder head so you can really wind em up to get them to make hp.

i have a .512 lift i believe. its a crane cam. It has gt40 heads on it with valve job. forged internals i think really the only other mods woudl be a bigger carb and headers. i coudl be worng. I have a 9 inch ford with either 3.89 or 4.11 gears not sure which to get yet.

You say u have forged internals? I would buy a small adjustable nitrous kit, you can get one for about 350 dollars and they come complete just need to fill the bottle and your ready.
Start out with about the 50 or 75 setting w/ some race fuel (110) in it and hang on for the ride.
Most bang for you buck there.
Next thing you know you'll be needing some new tires....lol
