I've listed a car for sale and Racingjunk.com has produced more scams

I've listed a car for sale and Racingjunk.com has produced more scams than any other place I've ever tried to sell something. In less than 24 hours I've received 6 texts from people that want to send me full asking price, with no questions asked about the car or ask for more pictures than the 1 I posted.

Of course they want to paypal or send a bank check and a transport company will pick up.

2 of them I offered to meet them in person and exchange cash for title because I travel for work, and another I offered to ship my car to my brother who lives in the next town from where the buyer is supposedly "deployed"

I've sold cars/motorcycles on line for about 15 years and have had more people contact me from this site than anywhere else I've ever posted

someone must fall for it though, or they wouldn't be going through the trouble

I don't put my number on listings anymore, just a email reply. That weeds out a lot of the crap...

As close to "Normal" as I can get...
