    Scammer trying to purchase parts

I ran an ad today to sell some front struts. I got a text asking if they were still for sale about 10minutes after I posted. He said he would using Bank Check N Mail sent USPS.Then he wanted my name and address which I didnt give him. I tried calling the number but now answer so I sent a text saying I called and they replied he is deaf. So I googled the phone number to see where it was from Texas and asked him where he lived and he stated CA. I told him sorry this doesnt jive I think you are a scammer. I asked for his full name and he gave it to me. The name and number went together but not to the state that is in the phone book. I again told him I thought it was a scam and needed proof it wasnt and he stopped all contact. BE CAREFULL selling!
