I just got scammed.... Need help???

I just got scammed.... Need help???
First I will start with I found a ad selling parts Ad #182601447 TKASPER1356 I purchased from the guy the msd 7720 7730 and 1 hvc2 coil for 700 dollars I don't like to use pay pal because of the fees so I sent him a postal money order. so he text me on dec 10th and said he received from that point I have not received any parts from him I have ask multiple times for tracking number and all he does is give me the run around..... I'm totally sick it is 700 dollars I have been a member since 2004 and never had 1 issue I'm going to the police dept on Friday jan 8th I have all the text and picture of postal money order that I sent I have never had an issue on racing junk this sucks can anyone help??? Have you tried going to the Post Office and see if he has cashed it. If not you can put a stop on it. If he has cashed it and not sent your parts, I believe that is mail fraud and the Postmaster may be able to start a case against him. That is a Federal offense. You may need your receipt of the purchase of the money order, but the stub from it may be enough.

I appreciate the help.. I contacted police dept and they gave me same advice They said if you can not work it out to come in and file a report.. I do have all receipts and pictures of what I sent him... I text him today and he said I gave him until fri the 8th It has been a month So I will give him until Friday.. We will see if he comes thru Thanks for the help

He did not come thru, never received a call or a text from him Headed Monday to post office and police dept If anyone has any other advice it would be greatly appreciated I'm just a local racer I have never been burned on racing junk This really sucks 700 dollars...... This guy is a thief beware....

I went to post office today and they put a tracer on my receipt.. a postal inspector is suppose to get back with me.. if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated thanks Duane
