You can still flip the lever over. You'll have to remove the pan and loosen the pinch bolt that holds the lever to the linkage inside the trans. You may have to remove the lever and shaft, flip it over and reinstall it.....I think that shifter is a rear exit cable design so the lever on the trans will need to point up.
