I would drop to 7lbs....reason being even though you see no effect on the needle seats now doesn't mean it cannot happen at any given moment...9 lbs will keep constant extra pressure on those needle seats..if it blows by the seat completey you will have a massive fuel over flow into the bowls ETC...or it could cause a fuel pressure Creep...the high pressure will keep seeping by the needle seat and cause you to load up,foul plugs etc...

go to 7lbs and do not worry about it..

you have a Great fuel pump by the way.....
