My friend Jimmy Smith did run a PG with 1.82's in his sons Camero weighing about 2900 lbs with a brake, and a 383" it ran high 10's and high 6's . it lived for about 1 season before blowing the planateries. I'm thinking about 550 hp and mostly 1/8 mile passes. Foot braking would definately be easier on the trans because it doesn't have the shock of the brake. I'm thinking it should stay together for Pinks atleast.
