I ran 3.73 gears in my 69 Camaro with Hoosier 28 x 14.5 x 15. (Had a 13.1 section width) Worked well on 10 inch rims which was the recommended size. Used to run 4:11s but wanted to drop the far end revs some. Had a TH400 and transbrake.
That was with 1100hp 572ci with 200hp nos. Hooked up no probs, ran 9.3 sec quarters. Weighed 3200 lbs.
