7000 rpm on a 540, you need a good head. No sense on just settling for something now. Get what you should get the first time out. That's how you save money. Many guys have just bought parts just to settle knowing they should have bought the other one, that's where the self a$$ kicking comes in. Buy the better ones now.
I agree. That is why I am so cautious about choosing which ones to buy.The 357 AFR's are within my budget,just wasn't sure if they were too big. AFR recomended the 335 but also said to go to a smaller camshaft.If I wanted to shift at 7000.( he then offered to sell me a custom camshaft) I just wanted some real world opinions from someone other than a salesman.
