Wow!! small world, identical situation, the 66 Biscayne, this car was bought out of Tx. as a roller certified to 8.50, it ran 8.60's had 14X32's he went to 30.5 Hooser DOT street slicks. I built the pump gas 468" motor, it now runs 6.50's and 10.56@ 127. We stop at Shell and fill up the fuel cell and tow vehicle then go racing.
I'm not suggesting you mess with the preload on the traction bars unless you really know what to do. My friend did not, so that why he had to get our other friend to re-adjust at the track.
