Have a Hilborn ( PG-150A) belt driven pump on one car, and a Crower (80A-0) belt driven pump system on the other. Would like to know if I could use an electric pump w/bypass (to tank) regulator to prime mechanical pump(s) for self starting.

Would a FI pump be better, psi/flow wise rather than a carb pump? Suggestions on max psi to set regulators.

These are gas setups, -8's but could go to -10's if necessary.
