Default rer gear confusion.

hey guys I know yall have answered 1000's of these questions about rear gears. But now I'm getting a little confused and need some help on these equasions. now these are 1/8 mile numbers I have a 5.14 gear/ powerglide 1.76-31''tires and going thru the lights @ 6.10 et and 111.57 mph at 6200 rpm, now my 670 hp comes in at 6700 so to go thru the lights at 6800 w31'' tires the calculaters say I need a 5.67 gear. ok thats good but the MPH stays the same that I understand, now does this mean I will be getting quicker 330 ft times and slower the 2nd half and would it still equate to a 6.10 et at 111 mph, ??? just quicker on the 1st 1/2 of the track. car is 85 camaro 2700 me in it. 434 sbc. I leave off the brake at 4000 I shift @7000 Thanks
I did all these calculations on wallace racing and this is asuming that you want to go through the lights at Max H/P and get to max H/P as quick as possible comming off the tree.
Thanks Andy
