When your vehicle cruise control is on and you drive down a steep enough hill that requires the car to be slowed in order to maintain the set speed, does the vehicle apply brakes as needed or does the transmission do some magic? Or is it different for each car? I imagine a manual vs automatic would work differently if it were the
