I guess the best thing about the 2008, is the larger Hemi engine which as i understand will be replaced with a smaller version for 2009. This in it's self make the 2008 a more collectable car. If i were 25 yrs. younger, i would look at buying one and wrapping it up for a few yrs. because for sure you can make money on it down the road.

That wasn't the same type of car. The dealer had a "production" Challenger. The SS Challenger package cars have not been displayed by anyone except Mopar. They are incomplete, need finishing and definitely not street legal. Think along the lines of the original '68 Hemi Cudas & Darts.
I hope the race cars are approved and become available because I have heard several rumors that there are some problems getting them out.
