How much hp on a stock glide?
I am putting my truck back together and it is a Footbraker. I have ran stock glides in my old Firebird with a mild 350 running 12.2's with no problem.
The motor in the truck is about 475 horse. The truck weighs 2650 pounds with me in it. I am guessing it should run 10.70's or 10.80's. I had a 1.76 glide with a brake in there when it was put together before, but I really dont have the cash to build a new tranny. I have a couple 1.82 glides that I ran in the firebird that work good.
I am just wondering how much power you guys have gotten away with in front of a stock glide.
