what if you had a little bigger cam with a larger lobe sep like 108. Would that help it clear the 4inch rods. I was told it would help. my cam is .679/.645 and I am planning on a 434. it is a .900 base. Also its a 4/7 swap, would that make it harder or easier to clear a 434 rod. And I know you can send a cam back in to be re-ground. So would they change the specs all together, or would they be able to change the base circle to help make it clear, but leave the specs alone??
