Steering box/headers
I have a 57 chevy truck. I just changed the original 283 for a pretty hot 327. When i bought the headers, they were for that year and for those engines, theyre Hedman. The passenger side i had to torch cut off the old crossbrace, and the drivers side, the header is paperthin touching the steering box. Is this going to harm the box when it gets hot? Harm seals, or will it be alright? Do i need to swap out steering columns? Thanks for any help!!!
