These are the new heads we put on my new motor.
My old engine was a 13-1 383 with the flat tappet cam I use and a pair of only bowl blended 215 iron eagles platinums. This motor is very similiar except Dart SHP,not 010 chevy,14-1,same heads,383,but had Juan Mendoza at flow tech port the heads.Yesterday we ran at Fontana and in the same weather conditions,I log all weather including wind, the car with the old motor would have ran 10.50 at 126.The new motor ran 10.14 @130 with only 5 runs on motor. We did not have the money to dyno,so this was the first time running.I'm pleased with the results, especially since I know Fontana is .1 to .15 slower then Bakersfield in same weather conditions. This car has a glide and weighs 3125 with me in it.
