A couple of feloow dirt track racers tried them on their 383 and 406 high flow alcohol circle track engines, and had nothing but problems...
They told me you have to run a special high flow fuel regulator that is matched to the pump, allegedly from the same company who makes this pump, in order for it to work right, and the regulator costs more than the pump does, which they are very proud of...
One of the points the ads claim is that this piston pump takes less than 10% power effort than a diaphram pump does, and much higher flow capacity...?
No, a belt does not suck, they only push, and they lose prime real easy, so I stick with an alky high flow diaphram pump with -10an inlet and -8 outlet. A C.V. brand pump is awesome!
