You are exactly right in the fact that it is much cheaper to buy one that is already built instead of building one yourself. Actually, right now I am enjoying my '07 Mustang GT. It is really nice just being able to jump in and go without having to "tweak" or adjust something everytime you want to go somewhere. Maybe eventually I will look into getting another old car to take to the track, but for now the air conditioning, power seats, power windows, power disk brakes, power steering, and "maintenance free" style of car ownership has really spoiled me. 8)
