We recently ran a ChumpCar World Series race at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma and had a blast. I love the concept of a $500 value crap-can race car that doesn't break the bank (we're normally dirt track drivers at Antioch Speedway). In fact, we used RacingJunk to hunt down some parts for our '82 280ZX & '88 Mitsu Mirage Turbo chump cars. We can't wait to run again (though they have 22 races across North America this year, we'll be looking to run Infineon again in late 2010). While we were in Sonoma they were actually filming the pilot for a ChumpCar reality TV show; we just found the clip online

We're trying to connect with other ChumpCar drivers in the Bay Area.
