Also check the speedometer gear in the transmission. It's easer to remove the tailshaft housing with the trans out of the car. A good shop will tell you which shaft gear and which plastic "driven" gear you will need based on your rear end ratio.

Edit: You will probably have to cut or replace the driveshaft tube and get another transmission yoke.
