yeah scammers always send total strangers brand new parts( that are no longer available new) with nothing in return but a promise.....the real clue that he was a scumbag came when he PAID THE SHIPPING HIMSELF.
I'm sorry I don't know anything about your deal but I base my opinion on how he treated me...he went out of his way to HELP me for no reasoin other than to help a guy out,so in my book he is stand up guy.
