Fram racing filters are nothing like their conventional filters. They don't pay me and there are other brands like NAPA and WIX "racing" filters that could be used. Bottom line is buy a heavy duty filter to match your engine. If your race engine does not turn more than 4500 rpm and has a standard oil pump you would never have a problem with a "standard" filter. My engines put out around twice the pressure of a stock engine and by the pump selection put out more volume than stock. I have never had a problem with a race filter. Go buy one of the good filters and cut it apart.
