first i just want to thank everyone on here who has helped by telling me things to do and look for on this block.i put a dist in block and cam,there is no interference with the gear itself,but with no intake or oil pump to stop it will go down far enough that the nose hits on the bottom of the #8 cylinder is that what your talking about?
