I got no dog in this fight but honestly sir, you can't come on here and post dyno numbers from a
chassis dyno and act like he lied to you by saying the motor would make 500 hp ...those are the numbers the engine puts out at the crankshaft...which is what people generally mean when they say "My motor makes XXX HP" There is a lot of factors that could contribute to power loss through the drivetrain.
A 408 with the parts he listed should be able to make 500 hp in my humble opinion.
