The fuel is not the problem. (Unless it has water in it) I had a similar issue last week and found the distributor cap and rotor were bad. It was very hard to start. When it did start it ran like a tunna boat and acted just like it was running out of gas.
I would check and make sure you're getting fuel into the intake and make sure you're getting plenty of fire. If it is it will start. ( if compression is not low of course)
