Hell, I've sprayed 250 HP through bone stock motors. It's all about controlling detonation and proper a/f ratios.
That being said... A motor designed for all motor will have a lot of waste when nitrous is added. A motor designed for nitrous every pass will run like crap compared to a motor designed to run n/a.
