link to photobucket for pics. look for yourself, ray said it was restored. Is that false advertising???? No hidden agenda, just want persons not to take rays word at face value.
badstage1-

looked at your pics- Frame is a definite cobjob. There are certainly things wrong- However it is a midyear vette. If you switched the frame out on that car much of what is bothering you would be fixed- a frame on any 63-78 vette will work although the 68-78 will require some slight modifying of the body mounts.

Invest the money in a frame- I would think you would find a roller for less than $3000 if you look hard. Restore the frame and swap the body, and then deal with the other stuff- you can get all parts.

If you are into the car for around $25-$30K, you could still put another $10k in that car make it nice and get out of it.

You can make it right to yourself with some effort-and you will be able to sleep at night.

But what you must stop doing is bashing the seller- you looked at it, made the deal, and then waited an extended period to complain. Game over in that respect. Let it go stop and blaming the seller.

You have a project ahead of you, but I would make it fun, get that car squared away and then either enjoy it or sell it- Like I said I restored a basket case midyear and you can get every part and everything fits right. Corvette guys are a pain- the repop stuff has to or they will whine till the end of time.

Corvette Carlisle is at the end of August in PA- a Great show and a good time to start your project.
