It isn't the tree huggers keeping it from happening its our government. If our government wanted it that bad they could get it. They're afraid oil prices will go down even farther. Just put a $80.00 a barrel price on oil and leave it alone. The oil companies could do what they wanted without the fear of oil prices falling just as their getting started drilling and producing. There's alot of stages, research, sundries, ect. that have to be started long before the bit hits the dirt to drill. It would get our economy going without the fear of annihilating it.
