I opted not to use a double pumper carb. at this time because of his experiance & the weight of the car. When he leaves at 2000rpm has very little spinning runs 9.13-9.18 in the 1/8th mi. I made him go down the track 8 times that day during test/tune. started off at 9.27. He drives it everyday. Now he is going to try a 750vacuum carb and a set of 26x8slicks this weekend. Kris
...perfect car to learn on...I learned on a 73 SS Nova with 396 BBC mild motor, with solid cam made 450hp went 12.00's woth 3000stall conv, and 4.11's in a 12 bolt....and a dual point distributor.....changed to a unilite distrib went 11.80's....memories....
