With the advent of cell phones and texting, cagers are even MORE oblivious to their surroundings. THAT is why I don't ride anymore. MY LIFE is in THEIR hands not the other way around. Even out on lonely country roads they can whack ya and not even blink an eye.
I haven't had an accident on the street in all my 44 years of driving because I practice
'spacial awareness'. Some close calls though when I was doing really stupid stuff in my youth
