Ok, I see the proof that he paid for it to be mailed. But there is no proof that it was delivered. Delivery confirmation or insurance is the only was to prove it through the USPS. If you sell something through feebay, you have to have proof that it was recieved or you are still responsible. Seller responsiblity is looked at the same on pretty much every transaction everywhere else that I have seen. I sold a part earlier this year and just happened to insure it as the local postmaster boxed it for me and I wasn't sure of the packaging job. 90 days later, it still hasn't been located. The insurance paid me the money to refund the buyer, I'm still out my money and my part. As the seller, I feel that's not really fair same as the seller here, and I got the insurance. If you sell it and the buyer doesn't want insurance, spend the 90 cents and get the delivery confirmation. That way you can be sure if it is recieved or not. The delivery confirmation cannot be used as a tracking number, it's only scanned when it's delivered. But it can tell you whether or not it's been recieved. I'm not taking sides in this, looks like both parties are coming out ont he losing end. Hope it can be resolved guys...
