Thanks to Nick, Olds Slomo... I have decided to allocate funds of my motorcross Death Bike towards a quad. My wife & I talked, I have too many toys that only pertain to me... this is something she & the kids can have too. I only asked about the Polaris becuase my dad has one... seems ok, but i have never owned a utility type quad... there are so many now. I want 4wd, winch, no shifting, soft ride & as quiet as possible. I only bow hunt, so I will use it for that. I think the distance it will go with a tank of gas (+ what I carry) & reliablity will be most important!! Eastern Oregon is pretty desilate & unforgiving when I am out there a ways. I am thinking 500cc & up, but gentle enough for my wife to ride. I want it to take me to uncharted territory in hopes of maybe killing a cougar this year (good luck , I know). I sure have seen alot of Chinese CRAP 4whlrs lately... off brands for less, those things are scarey looking! I am thinking Honda, Yam, or polaris... something like that. Maybe even a newer used rig...
