As hard to believe as that is, there are people that cluless out there. Like the guy that brought my Dad a Ford with 100K on the odometer and blue paint on the oil filter. The owner swore it had no oil filter when my Dad asked if he ever changed it. (this was in the late 60's) The oil filter weighed about ten pounds when he took it off. I had a customer that I asked when the last time she changed the oil in her car. (it had about 15-20K on it) her response? "You have to change the oil?"
Now imagine someone like that trying to "hotrod" their car. It takes all kinds.
