How exactly are they used? I mean, do guys just use them to run an index or what? Do they leave all out then come on the stop or limit it the whole pass?What classes are allowed to run em?
They are used in 8.90 9.90 10.90 index classes and some others have different index but them are the main 3. Most will leave all out and turn them on down track usually all before the 1/8th and let them come back on. I know of atleast one 8.90 index car that has been 200mph with the stop. Most of the cars that run the stops are atleast .5 faster then the index most would like to be 1-1.5 faster for big mph at the finish line, making it harder for the other guy to judge him.
