oil accumulator
I just installed a Moroso oil accumulator with a Moroso Sandwich plate between the engine and filter. The accumulator T's into this plate after the oil goes through the filter and before it enters the engine. What alarms me is that on intial start-up my oil pressure is half(35psi) what it was before the accumulator installalation. Is this normal , will my pressure be back up to 60-70psi once the Accumulator is full of oil? Anyone else experience this? I only ran it for 15-20 seconds. I had to sleep on it.By the way just a little 500hp 383.
