better yet, just when the plating on the base of the plug threads starts burning off...the old NGK's that are gold(cad) colored are a lot easier...

i agree a smaller carb would be better...say a 650 Holley...play with the jetting...total timing usually is in the upper 30's degrees.. that's about it.. 8)
