I'm having a carbon fiber body shipped by roadway and they're only charging 480 bucks for it.. But they are insured for such things and its a big package.... And your vertical mill would be covered...

I have had a very similiar setup in the past, but went from a 4.88 gear to a 4.10 and my 60' and 1/8th both got better, I guess it was spinning the tires off of the line anyways goodluck
