SBC 383 missing a lot of power

We have a new 383, 12.5:1 compression, Brodix racerite heads ( flow about 270 CFM at 0.6 lift) , a solid roller cam with 0.6 lift, 292 total duration, Victor Jr intake and a Holley 750 double pumper....

Fuel Tank Question, 5 gallon or 8 gallon?

I am replacing my fuel tank, do you like a 5 gallon or 8 gallon tank better? Car is a 74 Camaro, drag race only. I thought a 5 would be good IF you ever had a fire, but 8 might be more convienent.

Yes, the lip is where the wheel bearing was. I just didn't want to get the housing too thin, but maybe it doesn't matter that much.

I just have a regular Accel distributor, high RPM module with a an Accel coil etc. With the high RPM module, motor runs good at 6500 rpm, I haven't ran it any higher.
