IT'S FIXED! My best pass was a 6.59 with a 1.42 60 ft time on a marginal track at best. That was at around 7800 feet too. I think with decent traction it will settle in the mid 6.50's. Thanks...

A buddy of mine has a 1050 alky pro systems carb and he has to set his floats really low to keep this from happening. He sets them to where you cant see fuel until it sloshes in the bowl.

It is a Pro Systems 1000cfm 4150 carb, I cleaned the filter before the first race, it is an Aeromotive reusable filter. Unfortunately I dont have a fuel pressure gauge in the car just under the hood....

It stalls fine, about 200-300rpm higher than the old motor, it labors to get past 5000rpm and then seems to sputter/surge. People watching the car say you can hear it in the sound of the motor.

Well, I went through my Demon and cleaned it all out and it stil does the exact same thing. I called Demon and they were absolutely no help at all, so I guess I will be getting a new carb.

Yeah, I have jet extensions in it. I just put a 750 Quick Fuel of my dads on it and it ran great, never missed or loaded up at all. I am going to order a rebuild kit for the Demon and go through it....
