moly vs mild steel chassie

looking for input on weather to build new round chassie out of?
cert to 7.50
strut/ 4 link
i understand total weight savings will be 100 lbs for moly.
is the moly worth the extra cost and tig welding ( i currently only have mig)
this car will only run a few times a year

CM, tigged and overbuilt in case you ever need to sell it, it would be much more marketable if done up real right. And also safer if you ever 'needed' it.....

I agree with Brick and the xtra 100lbs will be worth it to run in the 7s.

Carbon vs. Moly Tube

So . . . , you gonna have a lot of time and money in this effort . . . . .

Sort of like restoring a '57 Chevy or a '53 Chevy. Same amount of time and parts, but the end result is very different ($$$$$)!!

Take care, K
