Extra wires on inner fender of Dodge Ram
 

I was looking under the hood of my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and noticed on the passenger side inner fender there is extra wires with a connector just laying there. Does anyone know what that connector is for?

It could be for anything, they usually put full harness's in the trucks an if it doesnt have that particular option its just a dead end. Does the end of the connector has have a plug in it covering up the connection?

No there's no plug just the open connector held to the inner fender with clips.

can you snap a pic and post it up? I have a 97 Ram out in the driveway I can go look at in the morning.

are you sure they are not testing hook ups for the diagnostic machines 8)
