trans for bb mopar 4x4
 

does anyone know of a 5or6 speed man or auto trans that will work with a 67 440 hp motor ? im building a old power wagon (1962 dodge town panel ) ,i have a 727w/a man vbody now but i want overdrive

I know of one guy that fabricated an adapter for a 440 to an early OD 47rh in a 92 D250 2 whl drive pickup. RH stands for REAR drive HYDRAULIC, not ELECTRONIC. This was his daily driver and I dont think he ever had problems with the trans. he did have issues with the origional to the truck, antique fuel injection he adapted to the big block
