opinions needed about a trade my 65 chevy pickup for 1978z28
i have it figured out it is a real z28 it was built in vanuys california, instead of z28 on the trim tag this one has a #8 in that spot ,if the car was built in ohio it would of had z28 on the tag,,now my only delama is it worth my 65 chevy pick up,, i can do an even trade it has the boned out 175 hp 350 in it ,,the car is clean, original paint, supposed to have only 42000 miles on it , dont know how ya can verify it, it came from an estate auction,,the only thing i can see wrong with it it has some rust inside the trunk (leaky trunk seal) but it is not rotted thru,,,here is my add on here http://www.racingjunk.com/1960-1979/...hern-truk.html ,,thanks

auto or manual trans? if its bone stock and has rust in the trunk the Z28 is worth about $6-8.5K depending on how the paint and interior looks. Those cars are cheap right now, believe me I just sold a 79 Z28. That truck looks nice and will hold it value better right now than the Camaro will in my opinion

they real cheap around here from 600 for basket case to 5-8 on average seen one at 11k but was a loaded z with factory 4spd 30k mile car
|
its an auto the interior is real nice, the driver side window has the normal scratches,,i think ill hold on to the truck,,,thanks

Don't do it!!!!!! Keep your truck.

79 z aint worth very much around here 5-7 maybe. but a 65 chevy truck can and has brought 10,000 in average shape.i quess these country boys like thier trucks.
