motor question
my friend has a 67 pontiac tempest with a straight six in it. he was told it needs a timing belt..... did they even have timing belts back then......?

Yes, Pontiac had an overhead cam six cylinder.

pontiac had an over head slant four cylinder to....... i never even seen one :(
