engine tourq specs and clearances
 

freshing up friends imca engine for him[runs on alcohol]355sbc..has eagle crank and eagle "h" rods with the arp rod bolts[43??]the block is chevy but has after market sprayed main caps in middle..believe to be arp bolts also;;cast aftermarket heads with arp head bolts;;
what i need
rod bolt torq
main cap torq
head bolt torq
main bearing clearance recomended;;min-max;;
rod bearing clearance recomended;;min-max;;

Hey Hotrod haven't seen you around for a while. First thing i would do is replace the rod bolts with new ones, prefrebably with ARP 2000's or L19's. The torgue specs on these bolts would be 65/70lbs with Zinc type lubericant, the head studs would be 65lbs with Zinc type lubericant. The mains would be 65 lbs center and 45 lbs outer with zinc lubericant. Both rods and mains clearace at .0025/.003 runing 20/50 oil. No less than .002 on any of the rods and mains.
